Montana – Mountain Lion Hunt – Private Ranch

Dry Creek Ranch – A highly successful Montana hunting ranch on 25,000 acres of quality big game habitat. This ranch is surrounded by other large private ranches which has helped to create some real trophy quality elk and deer herds and therefore a healthy mountain lion population. Lion hunts are controlled by quotas in each district and you will have four districts available giving you many opportunities on your hunt. Hunts are conducted on an on call basis (based on weather and snow conditions) to provide you the best opportunity of having a successful hunt.

Across the 40 sq. miles of canyons and timber the primary mode of hunting travel will be 4X4 and stalking on foot. Handguns and archery are allowed on these hunts.

This outfitter also offers mule deer, whitetail, elk/deer combo, antalope, mountain lion, and spring black bear hunts in rifle and archery seasons and they’ll provide professional taxidermy service. There is also the occasional fall black bear encountered that can be taken with a license.
